Privacy Policy
What we collect
- Slack OAuth data — your name, email, and workspace ID when you sign in with Slack.
- Channel metadata — which channels Visor is invited to, and timestamps of the last processed message.
- Event metadata — title, date, time, and status of detected operational events (e.g. "Deploy v2.4 — June 5, 14:00").
What we do NOT collect
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use your data for advertising.
How we use your data
Data collected through Visor is used to provide and operate the service, display your operational calendar, and improve the product. We may use aggregated and anonymized usage data to understand how teams use Visor and to develop new features. We do not share identifiable data with third parties.
How your data is stored
Event summaries are posted directly to a #visor-summaries channel in your own Slack workspace — not on our servers. The only data stored on our infrastructure is event metadata (title, date, time) necessary to display your operational calendar.
Data security
We use industry-standard security practices. Our infrastructure is hosted on AWS in Europe. Error monitoring is handled by Sentry (EU data region). Slack tokens are stored encrypted.
Data retention
Event metadata is retained as long as your subscription is active. Upon cancellation, you may request deletion of all your data by emailing hello@visor.fyi.
Subprocessors
We use the following third-party services to operate Visor:
- Anthropic — AI processing of Slack messages to detect events (data processed transiently, not retained by Anthropic for training without consent)
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure, hosted in EU (eu-north-1, Stockholm)
- Stripe — payment processing (billing data only)
- Sentry — error monitoring (EU data region)
- Mixpanel — product analytics (anonymized usage data)
- Google Analytics — website analytics
- Microsoft Clarity — website session analytics
GDPR
Visor sp. z o.o. is registered in Poland (EU) and complies with GDPR. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Contact us at hello@visor.fyi.
CCPA (California Residents)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal data we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@visor.fyi.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you via email if there are material changes.
